The Austrian Federal Chancellery is responsible for coordinating general government policy, the public information activities of the Federal Government, and the Federal Constitution. It also represents the Republic of Austria vis-à-vis the Constitutional Court, the Administrative Court, and international law courts.

Moreover, the Federal Chancellery has responsibility for special matters such as

• OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development,
